What CEUs Can I Use For Credential Application & Transfer Process?

If you have existing CEUs that have been issued from one of the organizations on our Transfer Matrix, then you may use these CEUs to apply for a PPAB credential or transfer an existing credential.

  1. The CEUs you have must be valid regarding when they are issued. Please see the individual Study Guide pertinent to the credential level you are applying for.
  2. The CEUs must be earned from education that falls within one of the core categories below.
  3. The CEUs must be documented so you can upload the documentation to the eligibility form when you apply.

If you do not have enough CEUs based on the above, and you have attended other educational events that fall within our policy, then please submit a CEU application form to request PPAB issues CEUs for this education.

Please use the form on this page

The CEU Policy

We have detailed below the PPAB CEU policy should you wish to apply for CEUs from an event you attended where the host did not have the event pre-approved. Please note that hosts applying for CEUs should also complete the form here.

The purpose of this policy is to provide consistent, clear guidelines that can be applied by the Pet Professional Accreditation Board when determining whether to approve or deny Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to obtain and renew the PPAB accreditation. *Please note all events need to have a verification system in place to ensure that attendees have participated in, viewed, or watched the event, webinar, or workshop*

This registration type is usually referred to as a “working” spot versus an “auditor” spot.
